NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions for Wednesday (2/12)

James of the Lakers

I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections.

Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.

We have 15 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 2/12. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Wednesday evening.

First… Sign Up to Make NBA PrizePicks Picks

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry! PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Lakers vs. Jazz NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Lakers vs. Jazz NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

LeBron James More Than 24.5 Points

We project him at 29.63 points, and our simulations have this with a 6.4% edge. Against the Jazz, he’s averaged 25.67 points in three matchups, with a 66.7% success rate.

With Luka Doncic now on the Lakers, LeBron faces less defensive pressure, enhancing his scoring opportunities. It also doesn’t hurt that the Jazz rank 29th in defensive rating this season.

76ers vs. Nets NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the 76ers vs. Nets NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Tyrese Maxey Less Than 9.5 Rebounds & Assists

We project him at 8.67 rebounds and assists, with our simulations showing a 5.6% edge and 63.4% win probability.

Joel Embiid said he’s unsure if he’ll play Wednesday, so be sure to monitor the news throughout the day. This pick may be less appealing if Embiid is out. You can see our updated projections in our Pick’em Tool.

Grizzlies vs. Clippers NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Grizzlies vs. Clippers NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

James Harden Less Than 5.5 Rebounds

We project him at 4.81 rebounds, with our simulations showing a 5.2% edge and 53.7% win probability.

Harden has averaged just 4.2 rebounds over his last 5 games, hitting this mark only 20% of the time. Over his last 10 games, his success rate is just 30%. Our Defense vs. Archetypes Tool has this basically as a neutral matchup for rebounding for Harden’s posistion.
