NBA PrizePicks Player Predictions for Wednesday (11/20)

Zubac of the Clippers

I’m here to share a few of my (free!) top picks for today’s NBA slate on PrizePicks. Most of these predictions are heavily based on our projections, but we can also find an extra edge by watching games and recognizing certain intricacies before the market is able to react. Be mindful of the fact that the news cycle in the NBA is fluid, so the picks below may become more or less appealing depending on player availability. But rest assured that our NBA DFS projections team is making updates as soon as news breaks.

We have 8 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 11/20. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on PrizePicks this Wednesday evening.

If you want to play along but haven’t signed up yet, grab a special offer with our PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry! PrizePicks – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Magic vs. Clippers NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Magic vs. Clippers NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Ivica Zubac Less Than 11.5 Rebounds

We project Zubac to underperform on the boards tonight, with this pick offering a 9.33% edge. This play is focusing on the nuances of the matchup, which should limit Zubac’s opportunities on the boards.

The Magic are a strong rebounding team, with the 8th-highest rebound% in the league. This makes it far more likely than not that Zubac falls shorts of 12 rebounds.

Bulls vs. Bucks NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Bulls vs. Bucks NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Giannis Antetokounmpo More Than 48.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

With this play having an 8.02% edge in our fantasy pick’em tool, we are expecting Giannis to deliver a big-time performance against the Bulls, who happen to be one of the most favorable matchups in the league. They are 1st in pace but all the way down at 24th in defensive rating.

Even at such a high number on PrizePicks, Giannis’ ability to stuff the stat sheet makes this a compelling option for me. His role as the centerpiece of Milwaukee’s offense — even with Damian Lillard back — ensures high usage, and his versatility allows him to exploit whatever defensive scheme the Bulls might throw at him. With his elite ability to score in transition and in the paint (both of which are weaknesses of the Bulls), Giannis is poised for a huge night in the box score.

Hawks vs. Warriors NBA PrizePicks Predictions

Here are the Hawks vs. Warriors NBA PrizePicks predictions for tonight:

Trayce Jackson-Davis More Than 7.5 Points

A 4.46% edge in our fantasy pick’em tool suggests TJD should eclipse this number tonight against the Hawks. As a young player who has shown flashes of potential, he might see just a few more minutes and touches due to adjustments in the rotation or injuries (DeAnthony Melton out; Kyle Anderson questionable).

TJD’s efficiency around the rim, ability to capitalize on 2nd-chance opportunities, and ability to play well off of others position him well to beat this modest points projection. While not quite as strong as the other plays around listed, our projections identify some value here.
