NBA Same Game Parlay Picks Today
- Stephen Curry UNDER 29.5 Points
- De’Aaron Fox 30+ Points
- Chris Paul 8+ Assists
- PAYOUT: +858
Stephen Curry UNDER 29.5 Points (-102)
Stephen Curry is a phenomenal talent, but this is simply a tall number for him, considering the context of this game. Curry has benefited in recent seasons tremendously from the presence of Draymond Green and the chemistry that the two players share when on the floor together. In the season opener, Curry still had elite volume from the floor, with 20 shot attempts. However, he had fewer open looks than he is accustomed to getting, due to not having Green delivering many of those passes. Curry averaged less than 30 points per game on the road last year and only 25.6 points per game on the road the year prior. The under makes sense in this spot.
De’Aaron Fox 30+ Points (+250)
De’Aaron Fox had only 18 points on Wednesday in his first game of the season, but his low point total was not due to a lack of volume. Fox attempted 18 shots against the Jazz, but shot only 33.3% from the field, including 1-for-7 from beyond the arc. He also battled foul trouble and ended up playing only 33 minutes. Fox should see closer to 35 minutes tonight, and a lack of foul trouble could allow him to be more aggressive attacking the rim. Last year, Fox averaged 25.1 points per game at home on 52.6% shooting from the floor. He has a great matchup tonight against the Warriors, which allowed Devin Booker to score 32 points against them earlier this week.
Chris Paul 8+Assists (-270)
On opening night, Chris Paul led the entire NBA with an incredulous 24 potential assists. He converted nine of those into actual assists, despite a somewhat tough matchup against the Phoenix Suns. Draymond Green has been ruled out once again on Friday for the Warriors, which leaves Paul as the team’s unquestioned top facilitator. His role within the offense was very clear in his Golden State debut, making this a worthwhile inclusion in today’s parlay.
