NBA Underdog Fantasy Player Predictions for Monday (3/31)

Kennard of the Grizzlies

I’m here to give you a (free!) peek behind the curtain regarding some of the awesome things our NBA DFS projections team is cooking up by giving you my top picks for today’s NBA slate on Underdog Fantasy.

Every single pick you will find below is going to be based on what our projections say is a meaningful edge.

Please keep in mind that the NBA news cycle can get crazy, so what is listed below may become a better/worse play depending on how that news breaks. You can always stay up to date on exactly what a team’s rotation and depth chart will look like on a given day by heading to our NBA starting lineups page.

We have 8 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 3/31. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on Underdog this Monday evening.

Underdog Fantasy – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Underdog Fantasy Top NBA Picks for 3/31

Now that you’re signed up, here are some of our top NBA picks on Underdog for 3/31 at a glance:

Celtics vs. Grizzlies NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Celtics vs. Grizzlies NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Luke Kennard Lower Than 5.5 Rebounds + Assists

Kennard is projected by us to have 4.61 Rebounds + Assists, which is comfortably lower than the 5.5 mark. With our simulations indicating a significant 8% edge, this choice offers a promising 65.8% probability of success.

These figures suggest that selecting lower than 5.5 for Kennard tonight is a strong pick. Our Defense vs. Archetypes Tool has this has one of the worst matchups on the board for Kennard.

Nets vs. Mavericks NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Nets vs. Mavericks NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Naji Marshall Lower Than 19.5 Points + Rebounds

Marshall is projected by us to have 15.9 Points + Rebounds, which is comfortably lower than the 19.5 threshold. With our simulations indicating a 7.6% edge, this option boasts a promising 65.4% probability of success.

Based on these figures, opting for lower than 19.5 for Marshall tonight appears to be a solid choice, squaring off against the slow-paced Nets.

Jazz vs. Hornets NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Jazz vs. Hornets NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

DaQuan Jeffries Lower Than 13.5 Points + Rebounds

Jeffries is projected by us to have 12.08 Points + Rebounds + Assists, which is comfortably lower than the 13.5 mark. With our simulations indicating a 5.7% edge, this pick holds a favorable 63.5% probability of success.

Based on these figures, opting for lower than 13.5 for Jeffries tonight seems solid. We have Jefferies penciled in for 26 minutes tonight, so he’ll need to be efficient to eclipse this.
