NBA Underdog Fantasy Player Predictions for Friday (3/21)

Yabusele of the 76ers

I’m here to give you a (free!) peek behind the curtain regarding some of the awesome things our NBA DFS projections team is cooking up by giving you my top picks for today’s NBA slate on Underdog Fantasy.

Every single pick you will find below is going to be based on what our projections say is a meaningful edge.

Please keep in mind that the NBA news cycle can get crazy, so what is listed below may become a better/worse play depending on how that news breaks. You can always stay up to date on exactly what a team’s rotation and depth chart will look like on a given day by heading to our NBA starting lineups page.

We have 10 games on the schedule as the NBA is set to tip off on 3/21. Below, I’ll detail how I’m approaching things on Underdog this Friday evening.

Underdog Fantasy – one of the most popular DFS pick’em sites – provides player projections for NBA matchups each day. The ball is then in our court to decide whether a player will ultimately exceed or fall short of those projections in the games. With a huge roster of players available from which to choose, we just need to make a minimum of two picks to build an entry.

I’ll break down the board by looking at factors like usage rates, projected pace, lines in the sports betting market, and of course, our RotoGrinders projections to forecast how NBA players might fare in categories like points, rebounds, and assists. Underdog Fantasy Top NBA Picks for 3/21

Now that you’re signed up, here are some of our top NBA picks on Underdog for 3/21 at a glance:

Magic vs. Wizards NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the Magic vs. Wizards NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Jaylen Martin Lower Than 0.5 Threes

Martin is projected by us to hit just 0.04 3s, which is significantly lower than any higher threshold. With our simulations revealing a 19.3% edge, this pick offers a solid 71.9% win probability.

Sweating whether or not Martin can hit a single 3-pointer should be quite fun. We have him projected for around 20 minutes in our projections. The less court time he has, the fewer his opportunities will be.

76ers vs. Spurs NBA Underdog Fantasy Predictions

Here are the 76ers vs. Spurs NBA Underdog Fantasy predictions for tonight:

Sandro Mamukelashvili Higher Than 14.5 Points + Rebounds

Mamukelashvili is projected by us to achieve 18.55 Points + Rebounds, comfortably higher than the 14.5 mark. With our simulations indicating a 5.7% edge, this pick boasts a 63.5% probability of success.

Based on these numbers, opting for higher than 14.5 on Mamukelashvili appears solid. The Spurs rank 25th in defensive rating, so they should provide little resistance.

Guerschon Yabusele Higher Than 7.5 Rebounds + Assists

Yabusele is projected by us to achieve 9.01 Rebounds + Assists, slightly higher than the 7.5 mark. With a 4.5% edge in our simulations, this option offers a 62.3% win probability.

Based on these stats, opting for higher than 7.5 for Yabusele tonight looks promising. This is an above-average matchup in our Defense vs. Archetypes Tool for both rebounds and assists.
