NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday Night Football (Packers vs. Eagles)
Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?
Notorious: Jalen Hurts, Jordan Love, DeVonta Smith
ncorfield8k: A.J. Brown, Jayden Reed, Christian Watson
Davis Mattek: Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Christian Watson
Bobby Gomes: Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Jordan Love
What is your favorite game-script build and why?
Notorious: This game features a low spread and a high total. Blowouts are always possible in the NFL, but my favorite game script is that this game stays competitive throughout and that both offenses are unstoppable. I’m looking to utilize more balanced builds than full stacks in this one.
ncorfield8k: The Eagles defense comes to play. Everybody will want to attack this game through the exciting offensive firepower, mixing and matching Packers receivers. But the Eagles defense was already extremely talented despite under performing last year. They got better through the draft and free agency. There may be some growing pains, but if the field is going to play it that way, I’d rather assume the opposite with my lineups.

Davis Mattek: I think the Vegas market line is mostly accurate. I expect both teams to go away from the run. Philly because Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts are just a weird stylistic fit, and the Packers because Matt LaFleur doesn’t have an RB2 to lean on. As such, I expect Green Bay’s pass/run splits from last season to tilt more toward the pass, making Love and his pass-catchers better options.
Bobby Gomes: My favorite game script is a near-balanced build as opposed to an onslaught of one team. The implied game total sits at 49.5 points, and the Eagles are slight favorites (-2) in Brazil. They are two of the best teams in the NFL on both sides of the ball. It is setting up like a close, high-scoring affair despite both defenses being stout. I will be overweight on both Jordan Love, Saquon Barkley, and DeVonta Smith. My builds will be balanced, as opposed to an onslaught from either team. If I use Love or Jalen Hurts at Captain, I’ll be sure to have two of their pass-catchers in flex spots. I’m predicting a track meet, so my player pool will be larger, as both offenses have 4-5 pieces FIRMLY in play. It could be a Romeo Doubs that breaks the slate based on his rapport with Love. That said, Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Christian Watson, and Luke Musgrave will all be involved.
