NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday Night Football
What is your favorite game-script build and why?
Notorious: Similar to the first two primetime games this season, I don’t expect this to turn into a rout. Even if one of these teams gets behind early, the other will have the firepower to put up points in catch up mode. My favorite game script is a competitive game throughout, which leads me to more balanced builds. I won’t have any full onslaught stacks (5-1 for one team) on this slate.
ncorfield8k: The Lions are able to do whatever they want against a bad Rams defense. It’s a full onslaught. Behind an elite offensive line, the Lions bite kneecaps and establish the run. Both Montgomery and Gibbs are optimal.

Davis Mattek: Jared Goff and Matthew Stafford both struggle in a glorified preseason game, as they barely got to play before this point. Sadly, these primetime games with expected high scoring offenses end up being scrappier than we often imagine. I think the field is going to be so overweight on the Lions offense that if you just tilt the game a little bit more toward the Rams and a little lower scoring, you can end up with some awesome +EV lineups.
Bobby Gomes: My favorite game script is a nearly balanced build as opposed to an onslaught of one team. This is similar to my approach with the Chiefs/Ravens game, as the implied game total sits at 52.5 points, and the Lions are slight favorites (-4.5) at home. They are two of the best teams in the NFL on both sides of the ball. It is setting up like a close, highly scoring affair despite both defenses being stout. I will be overweight on Amon-Ra St. Brown, Puka Nacua, and Sam LaPorta. If I use Jared Goff or Matthew Stafford at CPT, I’ll be sure to have two of their pass catchers. Predicting a track meet, my player pool will be larger, as both offenses have 4-5 pieces firmly in play, including Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, and Kyren Williams in the run game.
