NFL DFS Picks: Week 1

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: With Mitchell Trubisky under center last season, Allen Robinson racked up 147 targets (third most in the NFL). With Darius Slay no longer in Detroit, Robinson will square off against a very beatable secondary led by 30-year old Desmond Trufant.

ToeTagginTambo: Not really a trend or statistic but could call it more of an unknown…this is unchartered territory, with no pre-season. Going into week 1 we will know less than we ever have before. A lot of the trends/stats will go out the window and I’ll expect we see some random WR4 and RB3s get action and go big. Don’t spend too much time on last year’s trends/stats would be my advice.

STLCardinals84: The Jaguars are going to be terrible this season and check in as seven point home underdogs against a merely average Colts team. The good news is that game flow is going to mean lots of opportunities for the passing game. In the three games in which Gardner Minshew threw the ball 39+ times last year, he averaged 326 passing yards per game.
