NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Wednesday Night Football Picks
DraftKings
Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?
Notorious: Rhamondre Stevenson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Drake Maye
headChopper: A.J. Brown, Rhamondre Stevenson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba
ncorfield8k: A.J. Brown, Rhamondre Stevenson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Davis Mattek: Jadarian Price, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Drake Maye
What is the most pivotal correlation (or individual player) when it comes to your portfolio of lineups?
Notorious: While I certainly expect the Patriots to get A.J. Brown involved early, I think the matchup sets up better for Hunter Henry. The Seahawks were elite defensively last season, but they did struggle to defend tight ends (11th-most fantasy points allowed). Brown is going to command a lot of attention, which is only going to open up things even more over the middle. Henry is certainly volatile on a week-to-week basis, but he’s shown the type of upside for 2+ touchdowns. He’s my favorite pairing with Drake Maye.
headChopper: This may bury me, but I believe A.J. Brown still possesses an elite skill set, and I expect him to get fed in this game and throughout the season. He may very well be washed and I’m just not seeing it, in which case I’ll be giving away my entries on this slate. Regardless, I’ll be well over the field, featuring him in the CPT/MVP slot across the majority of my lineups. He’s also the key trigger for Drake Maye in my flex spot. A poor performance from Brown hurts my portfolio, but a big game likely lands Maye in the optimal flex spot as well, creating a double hitter for me.
ncorfield8k: The Patriots passing game. As noted above, I’ll have a lot of Drake Maye, A.J. Brown, and DeMario Douglas in particular.
Davis Mattek: Eli Raridon over Hunter Henry, Kyle Williams, and DeMario Douglas. I am projecting the Pats to be a base 12 personnel team, which means that Raridon’s route rate should be north of 50% in his first NFL game.

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
