NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Sunday Night Football Picks
DraftKings
Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?
Notorious: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Kenneth Walker III, AJ Barner
ncorfield8k: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Kenneth Walker III, Emanuel Wilson
Davis Mattek: Kenneth Walker III, Xavier Worthy, Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Bobby Gomes: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Kenneth Walker III, Travis Kelce
What is the most pivotal correlation (or individual player) when it comes to your portfolio of lineups?
Notorious: My biggest stand of the slate is a fade of Emanuel Wilson. He has been productive in his spot starts, but his fantasy production has been bolstered by scoring touchdowns. He has averaged fewer than 4 yards per carry in each of the last 3 games. The Chiefs are also 9th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to running backs.
ncorfield8k: Kenneth Walker III + Chiefs D/ST. Sam Darnold has 10 turnover-worthy plays this season. Since the start of last season, Darnold has also been pretty bad at home, averaging just 12.93 fantasy points (compared to 16.95 on the road). I like the Chiefs’ defense here, and if they can cause some short fields, Walker should continue to dominate even in a tough matchup.
Davis Mattek: Jalen Royals, Andrew Armstrong, and Noah Gray over Rashid Shaheed, AJ Barner, Cooper Kupp, and the backup Seahawks pass catchers. In my opinion, the projections are all too high on them compared to the potential touchdown rates for the Chiefs’ tertiary guys.
Bobby Gomes: Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba together is the core everyone will have, so that alone doesn’t set you apart. The pivotal piece is a second Seattle pass catcher. Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed will both be lower owned, and if Darnold has a big night, one of them is usually part of it. Pairing Darnold with Smith-Njigba and one of those players is where I want to be.

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
