What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat the field? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: I like smaller fields with limited entries on such a small slate. I like to game-stack this little 3-gamer and hope 1 game goes bananas. I don’t mind leaving salary on the table on such a small slate either. My biggest stance will be targeting the Eagles and Chiefs passing attacks rather than the running attacks.
Stevietpfl: I like small-field contests for the afternoon slates, and I focus on single-entry contests. On this 3-game slate, I’m going to prioritize as much correlation as possible from the CAR/ARI and PHI/KC games. I’m not a huge fan of the DEN/IND game. I think it’s going to be a back-to-earth game for Daniel Jones, and the Denver defense is going to slow the game down.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll just be playing 1 lineup in single-entry contests, and I want to target the Cardinals and Eagles as my top teams. James Conner and Trey McBride project incredibly well in a matchup they should absolutely feast in, and the Eagles are likely going to be down a few bodies that should open up extra fantasy points for key members of their offense.
Who’s your favorite contrarian play and why?
headChopper: RJ Harvey – J.K. Dobbins is still the starter, and Harvey won’t be as popular because of that, but there’s no doubt he’s the more talented of the two. It’s only a matter of time before he takes over. I want to be on that train before it leaves and not try to hop on after it’s already worked up speed.
