NFL DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey (Afternoon Slate): Week 5 Picks
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
headChopper: Jahmyr Gibbs
Stevietpfl: Jahmyr Gibbs
TJ Zwarych: Jahmyr Gibbs
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: I’m going to start by stacking the DET/ARI game. I’ll try to get different in other spots where I will attack the Broncos secondary with Chargers pass catchers. That secondary is wounded, and I’m not sure the Chargers pass catchers are going to be owned as highly as I think they should be.
Stevietpfl: On this smaller slate, I focus on small-field contests. I’m going to be overweight on the DET/ARI game. I’ll look for lower-owned players to pair with my DET/ARI stacks. I’ll pair players like Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam LaPorta, hoping they get the production over Amon-Ra St. Brown or Jameson Williams. I will be playing Emanuel Wilson with the Seattle defense and taking a stand against the 49ers.
TJ Zwarych: Like most people, I’ll be stacking up the DET/ARI game as much as I possibly can. I’ll start with Jacoby Brissett, Michael Wilson, and Trey McBride, and while the rest of my lineup might look gross, I want to jam in Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown as well. It’s tough to make it work, but I’ll take shots on cheap plays like Kendrick Bourne, Isaac TeSlaa, or Elijah Higgins to make it happen.

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
