What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat the field? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I prefer large-field GPPs for this slate. I’m stacking the WAS/DAL game across my lineups, double-stacking Dak Prescott on some and Jayden Daniels on others. I’ll be all-in on that game, and that should separate me from most of the field.

Stevietpfl: I will play one to three lineups in small-field contests. This is one of the better afternoon slates we’ve had this season. I want to be overweight on the WAS/DAL game. I will focus on secondary stacks and correlate my lineups as much as possible. Courtland Sutton and Wan’Dale Robinson is one of my favorite secondary stacks for this slate.

TJ Zwarych: I prefer 3-entry max contests for this slate, and I will target a full game stack of the Commanders and Cowboys. Keep an eye on Deebo Samuel’s status, because not only is he one of the top options if he plays, he also opens up a ton of cheap value on the Washington side if he misses. The latter is especially appealing, as it would allow us to game stack while getting an expensive running back like Jonathan Taylor and/or Josh Jacobs.

Who’s your favorite contrarian play and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
