What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat the field? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: With limited games to choose from, I’m only running one lineup in smaller-field GPPs. I’ll be underweight on Puka Nacua — meaning he won’t be in my build — which should set me apart from the field. Instead, I want to leverage Kyren Williams in that spot. I don’t see a particular game to load up on, so I’ll spread my roster out with pieces from almost every team except the Saints.
Stevietpfl: I’m going to focus on small-field contests. With a 3-game slate, I don’t see a lot of options to be different. I want exposure to KC/BUF and the Rams. I want to be underweight on Travis Etienne and overweight on Parker Washington. I could see playing Josh Allen over Patrick Mahomes in some game stacks as well. The only other quarterback I’ll use on this slate is Matthew Stafford. Everyone will be playing Williams, and if Stafford throws for 3+ touchdowns, he could be a difference maker.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll likely just play one lineup in single-entry contests for the afternoon slate, especially given that it’s only 3 games. Josh Allen with Khalil Shakir and Rashee Rice is my preferred way to start, but I’ll also likely mix in either Kareem Hunt or Brashard Smith from that game. I’ll play Puka Nacua over Kyren Williams in the Rams game, and then use the cheap Jaguars pass catchers to make it all work.

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
