NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday Night Football

DRAFTKINGS

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Bo Nix, Elijah Moore, Courtland Sutton
headChopper: Bo Nix, Jameis Winston, Courtland Sutton
ncorfield8k: Jameis Winston, David Njoku, Courtland Sutton
Davis Mattek: Jameis Winston, Bo Nix, David Njoku

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

Notorious: The tough part about this game is that the team with the higher total (Broncos) is full of timeshares. They use three running backs, they use three tight ends, and they have a rotation at WR3. The team with the condensed offense (Browns) is facing one of the best defenses in the NFL. My favorite builds feature the quarterbacks, Courtland Sutton, and Elijah Moore.

headChopper: Good luck figuring out this game. With Jameis Winston at QB, it could go in 100 different directions. We’ve seen him lead shootouts with great performances and also single-handedly turn opposing defenses into winning Captains. I’m leaning toward some regression from Winston after recent solid outings, giving the Broncos opportunities for easier touchdowns off short fields. On the flip side, I really like the rushing upside for Bo Nix in this game, while Winston and a couple of his pass catchers could rack up solid volume against the prevent defense.

ncorfield8k: I think this could be a really low-scoring game, and I’ll be building for it. I like including a lot of the defenses and kickers, and mixing in lower-owned pass catchers. Currently, I particularly like Troy Franklin because he’s projected for very little ownership. But I may adjust, depending on how ownership projections shake out closer to lock. With the Broncos tertiary receivers all having reasonable but modest roles, I’ll lean into whoever has the lowest ownership projection.

Davis Mattek: As much as I would love to see a back-and-forth explosion here, this is going to look more like the Chargers game for Jameis Winston and the Browns. The Broncos will score their 20 points with 13 different players getting the ball on offense and 7 different ball carriers. The Browns are going to miss Cedric Tillman in a very real way as well. We will likely see a slog, with the Broncos having a massive time of possession advantage.
