What is your favorite game-script build and why?
Notorious: I like the idea of this being a competitive game where the Vikings are playing with a small lead. This will lead to a pass-heavy game script for the Colts (I love Joe Flacco and company) and a balanced approach for the Vikings. This would also result in a nice game script for the Vikings DST and for Will Reichard.
ncorfield8k: I like the idea of a Vikings onslaught tonight. Both defenses have been bad recently, but Flacco is susceptible to interceptions, and I think the Vikings defense turns up the heat at home tonight. I’ll mix in some 5-1 Vikings stacks with just one player with PPR upside from the Colts.
Davis Mattek: This is the game we have been waiting for. The Vikings have an awesome defense that generates pressure at a high rate. They also have a hyper-efficient offense with a QB who turns the ball over. These are the recipes you need for a high-scoring, pass-heavy game. The Colts have one of the worst rush defenses in the NFL, and they also have some of the worst corners in the NFL. This game is also being played in a dome with Joe Flacco at the helm for the Colts. I am playing this game like both teams beat their seasonal PROE averages and we see 35+ pass attempts from both QBs.
Bobby Gomes: The Vikings are a -5.5 home favorites, and the implied game total is sitting at a modest 46.5. Sam Darnold should be able to cut through the Colts defense, which is allowing a QB rating near 100. I’ll be overweight on the Sam Darnold / Justin Jefferson / T.J. Hockenson stack, with Josh Downs as a run back (Flacco’s guy).
