DRAFTKINGS
Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?
Notorious: Ladd McConkey, Stone Smartt, Courtland Sutton
headChopper: Ladd McConkey, Courtland Sutton, Bo Nix
ncorfield8k: Courtland Sutton, Ladd McConkey, Justin Herbert
Davis Mattek: Ladd McConkey, Courtland Sutton, Bo Nix
What is your favorite game-script build and why?
Notorious: My favorite game script is both teams turning to a pass-heavy game plan. The Chargers haven’t been able to run the ball without J.K. Dobbins, and it’s hard to trust Javonte Williams even with Jaleel McLaughlin out. Most of my builds will focus around the passing attacks for each team, so a pass-heavy game script will bode well for me.
headChopper: Denver takes an early lead behind the dual-threat ability of Bo Nix, forcing Justin Herbert and the Chargers into a pass-heavy approach earlier than planned. Herbert responds with big plays through the air and some timely rushing, but Denver leans on Nix’s legs and their running backs in the 4th quarter to seal the game.

ncorfield8k: Both teams are down an important running back, with J.K. Dobbins and Jaleel McLaughlin ruled out. The Chargers have largely abandoned the run in recent weeks, and Kimani Vidal has struggled in pass protection. But offensive coordinator Greg Roman reiterated this week that the team trusts him in pass protection, and with the Broncos defense struggling with pass-catching running backs in recent weeks—allowing the 6th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to running backs via the pass over the past 5 weeks—I think the Chargers lean more on the explosive rookie. The Broncos will likely lean on their rookie quarterback and his top receiver, Courtland Sutton.
Davis Mattek: This is a “hold on to your butts” game where both coaches go in an absolute shell. The playoff implications are massive for both teams, and they are both missing their most important RB. We are going to see so many run-run-pass-punt possessions that it is going to make your head explode.
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
