What is your favorite game-script build and why?

Notorious: This is more of a roster construction take than a game script take. My favorite take is that Rhamondre Stevenson is the only player we’ll end up needing on the Patriots. He has 54 opportunities through the first 2 games. He’s averaging 23 rush attempts and has a 16% target share in the passing game. With how good the Jets’ cornerbacks are on the outside, I am hoping most of New England’s production goes through Stevenson once again. I love the idea of using Stevenson at MVP/CPT and then stacking players from the Jets around him.

headChopper: The Jets win by multiple scores, but it’s a low-scoring game. The Pats have very little on offense, and the Jets grind it out with a slow pace and minimal but efficient passing from Aaron Rodgers.

ncorfield8k: Patriots score multiple touchdowns through the air and a low-owned Jacoby Brissett is the optimal Captain. I don’t love this build because I think it’s the likeliest outcome, but it’s also not implausible, and not many will play for a Patriots passing onslaught. Brissett has been terrible this season. But just two years ago, when Brissett started the first 11 games for the Browns, he scored double-digit fantasy points in every start and exceeded 15 fantasy points 7 times.

Davis Mattek: I’ve been thinking about this game all day, and I think it is pretty likely that we get subpar QB play from both Aaron Rodgers and Jacoby Brissett. That leads me to playing a ton (relative to the field) of the two running backs from the team builds. The field rarely does this, and that is how this game sets up. Braelon Allen was the Jets’ best player in Week 2 and both teams are without offensive talent on a short week. We know the big narrative around the NFL is the two-high safeties and shell coverage. So, given that both teams have been great at running the ball, I think we see that happen here. It should be a low-scoring first half in general, and if we get a long, explosive run from Breece or Antonio Gibson, the whole context changes.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large field, single entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
