NFL DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Thursday Night Football

DRAFTKINGS

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Puka Nacua, Brock Purdy, Jauan Jennings
headChopper: Brock Purdy, Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel
ncorfield8k: Puka Nacua, Isaac Guerendo, Jauan Jennings
Davis Mattek: Jauan Jennings, Puka Nacua , Isaac Guerendo (Patrick Taylor if out)

What is your favorite game-script build and why?

Notorious: My favorite game script is a close and high-scoring game. I have no interest in the defenses and prefer the passing attacks over the running backs. I could see this game playing out similarly to the BUF/LAR game last week.

headChopper: While I think the 49ers’ season is essentially over and they know it, I expect them to play with some offensive spark, leaning on Brock Purdy and moving away from a run-heavy approach. Their defense always plays tough, but the Rams have enough weapons to keep them on their heels, and I believe the Rams will look to Cooper Kupp rather than Puka Nacua to ignite their offense. This feels like a game where both teams put up points in a semi-shootout fashion.

ncorfield8k: This should be a high-scoring game, with two really strong offenses. With Isaac Guerendo banged up, it’s even easier to lean into each team’s matchup strength. That means a lot of the 49ers passing attack, as the Rams defense has allowed the 6th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over the past 5 weeks. It also means a good amount of Kyren Williams, as the 49ers defense has allowed the 5th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points per game to running backs over the past 5 weeks.

Davis Mattek: This is effectively an elimination game for both teams. While the West Coast offenses are always more run-based than people think, I imagine that if the sledding gets tough, both teams will not hesitate to tilt toward their star WRs (Puka Nacua and Jauan Jennings / George Kittle). I think we see a TNF over on this total.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
