A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. So, who better to walk you through all of the key NFL DFS positions each week? Noto has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and he will mix it up in all different types of contests. In his Key Personnel article, he will walk you through his favorite NFL DFS picks, ways to pivot away from the chalk, and overall strategy for the upcoming slate.

Does anyone else have the new Trolls soundtrack stuck in their head all day every day? Just me? Cool, cool, cool. I’m always willing to watch what the little man wants, but it becomes a problem once the jingles start getting stuck in your head. Parent life.

The key to last week’s slate was playing Josh Allen and any combination of the running backs that scored 2 touchdowns. Luckily, I was on the right path with my picks and had my second best slate of the season. They say that momentum in baseball goes as far as the next day’s pitching. In NFL DFS, momentum seems to go as far as next week’s slate. It’s hard to string together two great weeks in a row, but that’s what we’ll look to do in Week 13.

As always, injuries can change my thoughts on individual players and my plans with roster construction. For my final thoughts on each slate, make sure to check the Expert Survey, the Consensus Value Rankings, and my LineupHQ tags. I will continue to update them all the way up to lineup lock.

Brock Purdy: $6,100 DK / $7,800 FD
Kenny Pickett: $5,100 DK / $6,700 FD

My plan of attack this week is to save at quarterback and spend up on skill position players (two in particular, whom we will cover). On a per-dollar basis, Brock Purdy seems like the safest play at quarterback. He has thrown for at least 2 touchdowns in 11 of his last 17 regular season games and might have the best cast of weapons in the NFL. A matchup against the Eagles is certainly enticing, as Philadelphia has allowed the 2nd-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Purdy also has some added motivation, as the Eagles beat the Niners in the playoffs last season. Purdy was injured in that game and essentially couldn’t throw the ball.

While I’m not sure getting rid of Matt Canada was the sole reason the Steelers moved the ball so well last week, they certainly looked better with a new offensive coordinator at the helm. Let’s not forget that they were one of the most explosive offenses in the preseason. Pickett was sharp last week against the Bengals, completing 73% of his passes for 278 yards. The touchdowns came on the ground, which is why he didn’t have a great fantasy outing. This week he’s at home against the Cardinals, who are 30th in pressure rate and 31st in DVOA against the pass. He’s cheap, his weapons are healthy, and the matchup doesn’t get much better.
