Noto's NFL DFS Key Personnel: Week 17
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. So, who better to walk you through all of the key NFL DFS positions each week? Noto has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and he will mix it up in all different types of contests. In his Key Personnel article, he will walk you through his favorite NFL DFS picks, ways to pivot away from the chalk, and overall strategy for the upcoming slate.
Happy Week 17!
Ladies and gentlemen, we are hot right now in the NFL DFS streets. Week 15 was my best slate of the season, but it was quickly surpassed by Week 16’s main slate thanks to Chuba Hubbard, Devon Achane, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Keenan Allen. We typically remember the moments when things go against us, but I ran extremely well last Sunday. The Panthers game went into overtime. Hubbard not only got the 100-yard bonus but ran in a long touchdown to win the game. The Dolphins were essentially trying to run out the clock in their game, but Achane was able to break off a long touchdown run to also give him the 100-yard bonus.
I feel locked in right now. Let’s keep it going in Week 17.

NFL DFS Top Picks & Plays: Noto’s Key Personnel for Week 17
We are to the point of the season where team motivation really comes into play. The worst-case scenario is targeting players or teams with no motivation. This doesn’t mean that we have to focus all of our attention on teams fighting for playoff positioning, but I am less likely to target veterans on bad teams that are trying to tank. On the other hand, young players on bad teams that are fighting for future roster spots are firmly in play. This week is more of an art than a science.

Quarterback
EXPERT PLAY TAGS
Jayden Daniels: $8,500 FD
This is a rare slate where I don’t love any of the quarterbacks. On FanDuel, we thankfully have the Sunday Night Football game on the main slate. The Commanders control their own destiny in the NFC Playoff race, so they will pull out every stop possible in this week’s game against the Falcons. This is an exploitable matchup for Jayden Daniels, as Atlanta is 17th in EPA against the pass and 26th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks this season. Daniels has rushed for at least 50 yards in 4 of his last 8 games and has topped 23 fantasy points in each of the last 3 games. Paying up at quarterback has been a solid strategy on FanDuel all season.
Mason Rudolph: $5,000 DK
We don’t have a ton of value this week on DraftKings. As is typically the case, I am looking for the cheapest viable quarterback in my main lineup. It doesn’t feel great, but that is likely Mason Rudolph (I might pivot to Joe Flacco if Anthony Richardson is out). Rudolph doesn’t mind taking shots down the field and has averaged a respectable 14 fantasy points per game this season. He draws an elite matchup against the Jaguars, who are 29th or worse in EPA against the pass and fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks this season.
