A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. So, who better to walk you through all of the key NFL DFS positions each week? Noto has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and he will mix it up in all different types of contests. In his Key Personnel article, he will walk you through his favorite NFL DFS picks, ways to pivot away from the chalk, and overall strategy for the upcoming slate.

After this week, we are officially one-third of the way through the season.

Is it just me, or does time go by faster as we get older? A month used to feel like a year when I was growing up and now it goes by in a flash. That’s especially the case when you have kids. I can’t believe my little one is turning eight in a couple of weeks. There is nothing better than being a parent, but a distant second might be NFL DFS.

I always like to be transparent with my play, and I’m coming off of my worst week of the season. I had all of the right pieces, but wasn’t able to put them all on the same team. I built three tournament lineups on DraftKings and they all scored between 150-160 points. Unfortunately, they all failed to reach the cash line. Ideally, all of the good plays would have been on the same lineup, but that’s the nature of DFS. You not only have to be on the right plays, but need them to be in the right lineups as well.

Unlike the last couple of weeks, I actually like the way my lineups look in my initial Week 6 builds.

I appreciate you joining me for Week 6. Now let’s dive into the slate!

We have to keep an eye on the weather this week, as a lot of the games in the Eastern time zone could have some wind and rain. As always, there’s no better place to check the weather for DFS than here on RotoGrinders with Kevin Roth’s forecast.

As long as the weather holds up in Chicago, I plan to have a lot of exposure to Justin Fields. It’s been a tumultuous season for the Bears’ signal caller, but he’s coming off of two QB1 performances in a row (33 FPs in each). The most impressive part is that he’s done most of the damage through the air. The rushing upside is always there and we know the Vikings love to blitz. This should create a lot of scramble opportunities for Fields. It’s also an attackable matchup through the air, as Minnesota is ranked 21st in pass DVOA and 25th in dropback EPA. I used to only target Fields solo, but we can confidently stack him with DJ Moore or Cole Kmet.
