Week 4 of the NFL regular season will conclude with the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints meeting on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 8:15 PM ET on ESPN.

Tonight marks the 20th anniversary of the Saints playing their first game back in the Superdome following Hurricane Katrina. The stadium environment is likely to be emotional, and the football is likely to be competitive, with the Falcons and Saints both needing a win to keep pace with the Panthers for 1st place in the NFC South.

The NFL odds have moved in favor of the Falcons, who are now 1.5-point underdogs after opening as 2.5-point underdogs. The total is set at 47.5 points.

Below, you can find three of my favorite player props for Falcons vs. Saints!

Best NFL Player Props for Falcons vs. Saints

Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM ET on Monday, October 5th:

Tyler Shough UNDER 36.5 Pass Attempts (-119, DraftKings)

The Saints have been one of the more pass-heavy offenses in the NFL early this season, with a +1.4% pass rate over expected (PROE) through 3 games. However, a lot of those passes have come as a result of not having success on 1st down. They have a negative PROE on 1st & 10, meaning they are more likely to run in those situations than the league-average team. It’s nearly every other scenario in which the Saints are skewing for heavier passing.

If the Saints can find more success on 1st down tonight, it could allow for a more balanced offensive approach than we have seen from them in recent games.

Chris Olave UNDER 85.5 Receiving Yards (-110, DraftKings)

Olave has been the clear focal point of the Saints passing attack this season, but the emergence of Devaughn Vele has the potential to take a little bit off of his plate.

In Week 3, Olave saw a season-low 7 first-read targets, despite Tyler Shough throwing the ball 42 times against the Raiders.

Vele has 6+ targets in each of their first 3 games and 64+ receiving yards in 2 of those games. The Saints passing attack doesn’t need to completely rely on Olave for production in tonight’s divisional matchup.

Drake London UNDER 81.5 Receiving Yards (-111, DraftKings)

London was the primary beneficiary of Atlanta having starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr. back on the field in Week 3. He saw a team-high 10 targets en route to posting 194 receiving yards last Thursday against the Packers. He was the only Atlanta pass-catcher to see more than 3 targets.

Though London has always performed better with Penix under center than with other quarterbacks, it’s unlikely we see such hyper-focused ball distribution for London tonight. The Falcons have repeatedly tried to get Kyle Pitts Sr. going this season, and they finally have a good matchup to do so against a Saints defense that struggles to cover the middle of the field.

Atlanta also has experienced pass-catchers with Bijan Robinson, Austin Hooper, Jahan Dotson, and Olamide Zaccheaus, who can take some of the workload away from London. This is a big number for London to clear against a divisional foe.
