Best NFL Player Props for Sunday Night Football: Ravens vs. Bills
Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 PM ET on Sunday, September 7th:
- Lamar Jackson Over/Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
- Josh Allen Over/Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
- Josh Allen Over/Under 231.5 Passing Yards
Lamar Jackson UNDER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+115, BetMGM)

Last year, Jackson only had 1 game in which he finished with a negative EPA/play – it was the team’s season opener on the road in Kansas City. Notably, Jackson didn’t play in the preseason, which could have contributed to some timing issues and other rust-related problems in that contest.
This time of year, there is always a debate between quarterbacks being rested and quarterbacks being rusty after not playing in the preseason. Data from recent seasons more strongly supports the idea that quarterbacks are rusty in their first live game action when they don’t get a proper tune-up during the preseason.
Josh Allen UNDER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+105, BetMGM)

In 2024, there were 10 starting quarterbacks who didn’t play in the preseason – 9 of those 10 quarterbacks failed to throw multiple touchdown passes in Week 1 of the regular season. Tonight, Allen has the added difficulty of facing one of the league’s better defenses.
From Week 11 to Week 17 last season, the Ravens’ defense ranked 2nd in EPA/play in 1st in success rate, pairing the league’s best secondary unit with an above-average run defense to hold their opponents to 16.3 points per game. It’s possible that we see Allen and the Bills struggle to a degree.
Josh Allen UNDER 231.5 Passing Yards (-113, DraftKings)

During last year’s regular season, Allen only went over this number in 11 of 20 regular season games. His Week 4 game against the Ravens was the only game he had last fall in which he didn’t generate a positive EPA/play.
Baltimore’s defense projects to be one of the league’s best units again in 2025. Allen didn’t play in the preseason, and a couple of his top wide receivers are coming back from minor injuries. It could be difficult for this passing attack to have success in their season opener.
