This evening’s Sunday Night Football matchup will feature Sam Darnold and the Seahawks against Jayden Daniels and the Commanders. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.

Seattle won 5 of their final 6 games heading into their Week 8 bye, with their lone loss in that span coming by a field goal against the Buccaneers. Washington has been trending in the opposite direction of late, having lost 4 of their last 5 contests, including 3 games in a row heading into this matchup.

Despite these teams trending in opposite directions in the standings, the NFL Odds for this game indicate that the market is expecting the Commanders to be competitive tonight – Seattle is favored by only 2.5 points on the spread.

Best NFL Player Props for Seahawks vs. Commanders

Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 PM ET on Sunday, November 2nd:

Sam Darnold OVER 240.5 Passing Yards (-114, FanDuel)

Add this pick with 1 click!PLACE THIS BET ONFANDUEL

Darnold has been playing at a borderline elite level early in 2025, ranking 5th in EPA/play and 6th in success rate among qualified quarterbacks. In Week 9, he will get to face a Washington pass defense that ranks 25th in EPA/play and 17th in success rate so far this season.

Through 8 weeks, only 5 teams have allowed more completions of 20+ yards than the Commanders. Darnold should have some opportunities to air things out in this matchup. If Seattle ends up facing a negative game script on the road, that would only further increase his chances to accumulate passing yards.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt OVER 12.5 Rush Attempts (-116, DraftKings)

Croskey-Merritt only had 9 rushing attempts this past Monday against the Chiefs, but there was a clear intention to get him going on the ground. Washington simply abandoned their ground attack in the second half after Kansas City started to pull away on the scoreboard.

Despite not having great numbers in recent weeks, Croskey-Merritt appears to be locked into the team’s lead-back role. He should have some more room to run this evening, with Seattle’s defense having to respect the dual-threat ability of QB Jayden Daniels. In a competitive game script, Croskey-Merritt could threaten for 15 attempts on Sunday Night Football.

Tory Horton OVER 31.5 Receiving Yards (-115, BetMGM)

On Sunday, the Seahawks project to be quite thin at wide receiver, with Cooper Kupp, Jake Bobo, and Dareke Young each unavailable. That could open up an additional look or two for Tory Horton, who enters play in Week 9 ranked 4th on the Seahawks in targets.

Horton has 3 games this season with 32+ receiving yards and has played at least 19 passing snaps in each of the team’s last 3 games. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get an even bigger bump in playing time tonight, which could help him hit the over.
