This week’s edition of Thursday Night Football will feature Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins against Josh Allen and the Bills from Orchard Park. Kickoff is set for 8:15 PM ET on Prime Video.
Entering play, Allen and the Bills have won 12 of their last 13 head-to-head meetings against the Dolphins. They are also one of only 2 teams to be undefeated on Thursday since 2018, per Buffalo’s official team communications department.
Looking at tonight’s NFL odds for Dolphins vs. Bills, oddsmakers certainly seem to expect those trends to continue, pricing Allen and the Bills as 11.5-point home favorites on the spread.
Below, you can find three of my favorite player props for Dolphins vs. Bills!
Best NFL Player Props for Dolphins vs. Bills
Here are my top player prop bets, with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 PM ET on Thursday, September 18th:
- Keon Coleman Over/Under 3.5 Receptions
- Josh Allen Over/Under 29.5 Rushing Yards
- Jaylen Wright Over/Under 0.5 Touchdowns
Keon Coleman OVER 3.5 Receptions (+125, bet365)

After exploding for 8 receptions and 112 receiving yards in Week 1, Coleman had a somewhat disappointing 3 receptions for only 26 receiving yards in Week 2. That being said, the Bills routed the Jets in that game, which meant not a lot of emphasis on throwing the ball. Despite the lackluster overall numbers, Coleman still tied for the team lead in first-read target% and was tied for the team lead among wide receivers in targets. Tonight, in a much more favorable matchup, Coleman should see 6+ targets, giving him a great chance to cash this prop.
Josh Allen UNDER 29.5 Rushing Yards (-110, bet365)

When Buffalo wins comfortably, Allen doesn’t run as frequently. In Week 1, Allen had 14 rush attempts in a 1-point game against the Ravens, but he had only 6 attempts last week in a 20-point victory over the Jets. Last season, the Bills were involved in 8 games that ended up being decided by 10+ points – Allen had 2, 6, 5, 3, 7, 8, 3 and 5 rush attempts in those games.
Of course, Allen is always a threat to break a big run, but if the math says he’s probably having 6 carries or fewer in a blowout win, the under on his rushing yards could have some value. Depending on the sportsbook, the under on his rushing yards could pair well in a correlated parlay with an alt-spread Bills victory too.
Jaylen Wright OVER 0.5 Touchdowns (+1400, BetMGM)

Wright didn’t play in either of the first 2 games due to injury, but he was off of the injury report this week and appears ready for his first action of the season. Given that Wright hasn’t played any snaps yet, coupled with the fact that this is a short week, he’s probably not going to be heavily involved in the team’s game plan. Yet, if he does have a role, it could be in short-yardage situations, with his 208-pound frame potentially giving him an opportunity or two near the goal line over the 191-pound De’Von Achane. This could be worth a sprinkle if looking for a longshot.
