NFL Preseason Contests Live on FanDuel and DraftKings

It’s now August and the dog days of summer are coming to an end, and that can only mean one thing… the return of NFL DFS! Training camps are in full swing and before we know it the teams will be kicking off their regular season action. There are roster battles to be had, though, and that means preseason games take on the utmost of importance.

While the bright-eyed hopefuls fight it out on the gridiron, there will be DFS contests on both FanDuel and DraftKings to help us get our football fix in before the real big money comes into play.

The first slate of the preseason will be a small two-game slate with Dallas and Arizona kicking things off this Thursday, followed up by a game next Wednesday between Houston and Carolina. The FanDuel $10K Preseason Snap is almost sold out (97% full as of the time of this article) but there is still some action available in the FanDuel lobby if you want to get in on the action.

The strategy for NFL preseason DFS varies drastically from regular season NFL. At least for this opening slate, every player is priced the same. Want to play Ezekiel Elliott, Cam Newton, Larry Fitzgerald, Lamar Miller, and Greg Olsen in the same lineup? You can. Just one thing… they might not even take the field (or if they do it might just be for one or two series).

This is where paying attention to NFL beat writers, camp reports, and expected preseason rotations for the teams will come into play and differentiate the winners from the losers. The edge is huge in NFL preseason DFS due to this as many casual players won’t know where to get this information or how to correctly apply it.

Lucky for all of us here at RotoGrinders, we have Seth Yates to help all of us out with this information. Seth got his start in the DFS industry writing preseason NFL content back in August of 2015 when the two major sites posted preseason contests out of the proverbial blue. For the past two seasons, Seth has blogged preseason content and made over $2,000 profit each year alone in preseason contests.

This year, Seth is going to be putting his hard work into the RotoGrinders Marketplace. For every preseason slate, Seth’s package will include a team-by-team breakdown, tournament and cash game rankings for each position, a subscribers-only podcast (most slates) and a premium chat with Seth and other subscribers. On top of that there will be a downloadable file with hard-to-find historical stats including snap counts (separated by week). You can get the entire season for just $20 and will have access through September 5th, 2017.
