NFL PrizePicks: Jets vs. Bills Player Predictions for Monday Night Football
The first Monday Night Football game is upon us in Week 1 with two divisional foes facing off in the Jets vs. Bills. Both of these teams come in relatively healthy for their first game of the season. However, there are still plenty of spots to take advantage of on Fantasy Pick’em sites like PrizePicks. Aaron Rodgers plays his first game on his new team and is facing the Bills, one of the top teams in the AFC. This is poised to be an incredible exciting game if Rodgers lives up to the hype with his new team.

PrizePicks Plays: Jets vs. Bills
- Khalil Shakir More/Less Than 8.5 Receiving Yards
- Josh Allen More/Less Than 253.5 Passing Yards
- James Cook More/Less Than 62.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
Khalil Shakir — 8.5 Receiving Yards
Without Isiah McKenzie on the team anymore, Shakir is solidified in the #3 WR role for the high-powered Bills offense this season. This line is just way too low, as he can easily eclipse this in a single reception. Even if the Bills heavily feature Diggs and Davis throughout multiple receiver sets, the Bills will almost certainly have a few gadget plays set up for Shakir like they did McKenzie last season.
The lines on the entire Bills offense in this one feel too low, and they make it easy to hit the “More” button on PrizePicks. I think the entire receiving corps of Diggs, Davis and Shakir go over their totals tonight. However, Shakir is the biggest no-brainer at the low line of 8.5 Receiving Yards.
Play: Shakir More Than 8.5 Receiving Yards
Josh Allen — 253.5 Passing Yards
Since I love all the lines of the Bills receivers tonight, it makes sense I’d want to pair them with Josh Allen as well. The Bills QB only had 7 games last season below the 250-yard passing mark. His offense should continue to excel this season with increased familiarity and a healthy Gabe Davis.
The Jets’ defense should be more than competent this year, however, I’m not worried about them stopping Josh Allen. I’m not buying into the Jets hype this year and think the Bills may run away with this one, however, the 253.5 passing yard line for Allen is low enough I’m not worried about him not getting enough pass attempts to get there.
Play: Allen More Than 253.5 Passing Yards
James Cook — 62.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
Without Devin Singletary in town anymore, James Cook is the man in the Buffalo Bills backfield. He became increasingly involved as the season progressed last year and now has the back field all to himself. Although the Bills brought in Damien Harris and Latavius Murray, Cook is still expected to have a 3-down role with Buffalo this year.
He’s likely to be heavily involved in the passing game with the Bills this year which makes his Rushing and Receiving yards combined prop so juicy. I like the Bills to win fairly easily tonight and I think Cook could eclipse this mark just with Rushing Yards. However, if I’m wrong, the Bills will still be using Cook a lot regardless of the game script. If they’re down, he will be catching passes and they’ll pound it on the ground if they’re up. Cook should easily exceed 62.5 yards from scrimmage tonight.
