NFL PrizePicks: Jets vs. Chiefs Player Predictions for Sunday Night Football
There’s big-time blowout potential in the Sunday Night Football matchup featuring the Jets vs. Chiefs. It’s entirely possible this one gets ugly early leading to Taylor Swift in the stands being the most entertaining part of the game. However, with the Chiefs as big favorites, there are still plenty of options for DFS Pick’em PrizePicks predictions with the Chiefs offense set to cook, and the Jets likely to fizzle.
Each week, I’ll deliver my top NFL PrizePicks predictions for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football. Use the PrizePicks referral code GRINDERS to receive a $100 deposit match to prep you for the NFL season.
PrizePicks Plays: Jets vs. Chiefs
- Zach Wilson – Less Than 192.5 Passing + Rushing Yards
- Travis Kelce – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns
- Jerick McKinnon – More Than 15.5 Receiving Yards
Zach Wilson – 192.5 Passing + Rushing Yards
The beauty of having Zach Wilson less than 192.5 Passing + Rushing yards as a DFS Pick’em PrizePicks prediction is that there are a multitude of routes that could lead to this outcome. There have been rumors swirling throughout the week that the Jets have given up on Wilson. If he plays well, he is likely to surpass this mark anyway.
However, if Wilson struggles early, he may not even get a chance for garbage time yards if the Jets fall way behind. It’s entirely possible Wilson plays the entire game and even if he does, I still think it’s likely the Jets’ offense struggles and he doesn’t reach 192.5 total yards. With the added chance of him being pulled, using his less than 192.5 total yards as a prediction pairs perfectly with the likely game script.
Play: Wilson – Less Than 192.5 Passing + Rushing Yards
Travis Kelce – 0.5 Touchdowns
Whether or not Taylor Swift is in the house, Travis Kelce is always a safe prediction to score a touchdown. I have no faith in the Jets to keep this game close, and the Chiefs should have plenty of red zone opportunities in this one. There’s not much analysis necessary: Mahomes to Kelce is the top red zone connection in all of football, and the Jets’ top assets in their secondary are corners. Kelce to have more than 0.5 touchdowns will be a pivotal piece of my PrizePicks cards for the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Jets vs. Chiefs.
Play: Kelce – More Than 0.5 Touchdowns
Jerick McKinnon – 15.5 Receiving Yards
In a similar situation to last week where the Chiefs routed the Bears, McKinnon was still able to tally 3 receptions for almost 20 yards. While McKinnon isn’t likely to rack up the rushing yards, he’s by far the Chiefs RB most involved in the passing game. He’s eclipsed this mark in back-to-back games and has been one of Mahomes’ favorite targets in the red zone. If the Jets somehow manage to keep this game close, this should be an easy smash. Even in a blowout, I like McKinnon’s chances to surpass 15.5 receiving yards, as it may only take a single reception.
