NFL PrizePicks: Texans vs. Jets Player Predictions for Thursday Night Football
In this space, we’ll look at the PrizePicks board for the Texans vs. Jets and try to make some predictions based on projections, trends, and the market.
PrizePicks, one of the best DFS sites for NFL fantasy pick’em, lays out player projections for us, which we stack to create entries that pay real money. They prompt us with a statistical projection for a player, and we get to pick whether or not the player will get More or Less than the number offered. There are hundreds of players from whom to choose, and we only have to make at least two picks to create an entry. Use the PrizePicks promo code “GRINDERS” to get $50 on a $5 entry if you haven’t signed up already!

The low total suggests an ugly game, but we could see some fantasy fireworks between two highly concentrated offenses that flow through Davante Adams, Breece Hall, Tank Dell, Garrett Wilson, and Joe Mixon. The PrizePicks projections are a little soft on all five for yardage, so we should attack all five. Specifically Dell, Adams, and Hall in what should be a highly competitive game script.
PrizePicks Predictions for Texans vs. Jets
- Tank Dell MORE/LESS 69.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)
- Davante Adams MORE/LESS 79.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)
- Breece Hall MORE/LESS 89.5 Rush Yards (DEMON)

Tank Dell MORE/LESS 69.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)
Without Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs, we must capitalize on Tank Dell‘s potential. While the Jets have a strong defense, C.J. Stroud is capable of throwing for 300 yards against any team, regardless of his available weapons. Dell should be Stroud’s primary target for downfield passes. Although Dell’s average depth of target (aDOT) has decreased from 14.3 last season to 9.5 this season, the Jets are allowing the NFL’s 3rd-highest aDOT at 9.4. This suggests that Stroud should have enough opportunities to air it out to Dell, potentially leading to 70+ receiving yards.
- PLAY: Dell MORE Than 69.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)
Davante Adams MORE/LESS 79.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)
In just 2 games in this offense, Davante Adams is receiving the attention of Aaron Rodgers (as expected). Adams has 15 targets, and that volume should increase as he becomes more acclimated to the system. The Texans are allowing the highest average depth of target (aDOT) in the NFL at 10.5 yards, so Adams shouldn’t need many targets to reach 80 receiving yards. We should expect him to be a primary target. RotoGrinders projects Adams for 9.7 targets, making 100 air yards very much a possibility.
- PLAY: Adams MORE Than 79.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)
Breece Hall MORE/LESS 89.5 Rush Yards (DEMON)
We’re still waiting on that big volume game for Breece Hall on the ground. Where we’re not attacking the Adams and Garrett Wilson DEMONs, we should be attacking the Hall DEMON for 90+ rush yards. He hasn’t topped 18 carries yet this season, but we could see a shift on a short week coming off 5 consecutive losses. Something’s gotta give here. This is a guy who we saw get 4.8 yards per carry across 2022 and 2023, and he’s averaging 5.02 over the last 3 games. Thursday Night Football can lead to a lot of running the football and the 42.5 total could be telling us just that. This offense is so concentrated that someone between Adams, Wilson, and Hall will get there on PrizePicks.
