Bears vs. Colts PrizePicks Predictions
Anthony Richardson MORE/LESS 199.5 Pass Yards (DEMON)
This is hilariously low for a DEMON projection at home in a dome for Richardson. I get it. The Bears defense might matter, but this is a dynamic quarterback who takes a lot of deep shots. He doesn’t need to connect on many to get to 200+ passing yards. RotoGrinders has his median projection at 201.36 passing yards in what should be a close game where the Colts aren’t able to close out with The Jonathan Taylor Show.
- PLAY: Richardson MORE Than 199.5 Pass Yards (DEMON)
49ers vs. Rams PrizePicks Predictions
Jordan Mason MORE/LESS 99.5 Rush Yards (DEMON)
The Rams are so banged up that the Niners are 6.5-point favorites in Los Angeles. Mason has seen 48 carries through the two weeks without Christian McCaffrey, logging 147 and 100 rush yards in those games. Week 2’s 100-yard game was a more hotly-contested game than this should be. Expect something in the neighborhood of the blowout volume from Week 1, where he saw 28 carries. He averages 5.4 yards per carry behind this offensive line with Kyle Shanahan’s already run-heavy approach. RotoGrinders has Mason conservatively projected for 100.21 rushing yards. He has an extremely high floor as a big favorite getting all of the volume in this offensive scheme.
- PLAY: Mason MORE Than 99.5 Rush Yards (DEMON)
Eagles vs. Saints PrizePicks Predictions
DeVonta Smith MORE/LESS 89.5 Receiving Yards (DEMON)
RotoGrinders has this DEMON play projected to be tighter than Richardson’s and Mason’s, but it’s still strong. With A.J. Brown active, Smith is usually safe for 6-8 targets. Without Brown, he gets a volume bump in the neighborhood of 8-12 targets, depending on game flow. With Philly as 3-point ‘dogs in a dome, we should love for Smith to hopefully have a ceiling game in store, so his 82.08 RotoGrinders receiving yards projection also feels on the conservative side, when we figure that Philly is gonna throw more than they normally want to and that Smith will be the primary target. His aDOT is a hair under 10 yards to start the season, but it was 12.1 last season. This is a legitimate deep threat getting WR1 volume.
- PLAY: Smith MORE Than 89.5 Receiving Yards
