Brock Purdy Higher Than 18.5 Rushing Yards
Purdy for higher than 18.5 rushing yards is a strong pick vs. the Lions. The Lions’ aggressive blitzing (2nd-highest rate in the NFL) and man-to-man coverage create opportunities for Purdy to scramble. He rushed for 48 yards against Detroit in last season’s NFC Championship Game, and his recent rushing trends (60% hit rate over the last 10 games) support this. Purdy’s mobility and Detroit’s defensive tendencies make this a solid play at Underdog.
Deebo Samuel Higher Than 47.5 Receiving Yards
Samuel has averaged 59.1 yards this season, going higher than in 58.8% of games. While his last 5 games have been underwhelming, he rebounded with 96 yards in his most recent outing. Detroit’s injury-riddled secondary, ranked 27th in passing yards allowed, provides a favorable matchup.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Higher Than 6.5 Receptions
St. Brown is worth a look to have higher than 6.5 receptions against the 49ers. Over his last 20 games, he’s averaged 6.8 receptions, with that number climbing to 7.2 in his last 5 games. As Detroit’s primary receiving option, St. Brown thrives in short and intermediate routes, making him a reliable target even against San Francisco’s above-average pass defense. St. Brown’s role as a focal point in the offense makes this a strong pick.
