NFL Week 13 Weather Report: Betting and Fantasy Football Impact

Week 13 brings us a handful of wet games to watch for, but no games with any high winds.

This NFL weather article will highlight any extreme temperatures, precipitation, and most importantly, high winds that we could see across the NFL landscape this week.

If a game isn’t specifically listed in this week’s report, that means the weather is quiet enough for it not to be an issue in that particular game.

NFL Week 13 Weather Report & Forecast

As always, it’s best to stay up to date with the very latest forecasts, so follow me on Twitter @KevinRothWx and keep an eye on my NFL weather page.

A reminder that while temperature and rain/snow can impact a game, the greatest impact by far comes from high-wind games, so I’ll be looking to highlight those spots when possible.

Sunday Main Slate

Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots – Widespread steady rain, essentially all game long. This is a soaker and is a bump down to offenses.

Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets – Off and on showers, mostly light to moderate stuff, but certainly enough to keep things slick.

Arizona Cardinals at Pittsburgh Steelers – A passing downpour or two is possible, but it doesn’t look widespread or long-lasting. Winds 10-15mph.

San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles – A spotty shower at worst, I expect we’re dry here.

Sunday Night Football

Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers – Temperature around freezing, with a chance for a stray rain or snow shower. I’m not too impressed with the precipitation chances, and temperature is not a high-impact weather variable, so I don’t expect this game to be impacted much by weather.

Monday Night Football

Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars – No rain, winds around 10mph and temps around 60 degrees. That’s as good as it gets for a December football game.

Weather Impact on Fantasy & Betting

The New England game is the biggest issue, that’s a legit bump down to offenses. NYJ game is next on the impact scale, with lesser but still note-worthy impacts. Any other game is probably over-thinking it as far as fantasy and sports-betting is concerned.

In case things change, I’ll be posting radar gifs to Twitter as we get closer to kickoff, @KevinRothWx on Twitter.
