Now, let’s break down the odds and look at NFL Week 4 betting picks for Chargers at Dolphins

NFL Week 4 Betting Picks – Chargers at Dolphins +15, O/U 44

Here we are again. Another week and another game where the Dolphins are over a 14 point underdog…and another game where I like the Dolphins. I’m becoming a broken record by now, and hopefully it pays off sooner than later, but the Dolphins spread is way too high. The Chargers come into this game 1-2 with a negative 4-point differential. The Chargers are one team that always seems to beat teams they shouldn’t and lose to teams that they shouldn’t. Over the years, I don’t believe there is a single team in the league that has been involved in more one-score games than the Chargers. Now, we get a game where the Dolphins are multiple touchdown dogs.

The Dolphins may be 0-3 ATS so far this season, but they have faced three teams that have a combined record of 8-1, with the only loss coming against the Chiefs in a close game on the road. The Dolphins get a good Chargers team, luckily not at full strength. The Chargers have a propensity to keep things close. It may not be a single-digit game, but a two-touchdown game is close enough for me The Dolphins actually played a good game against the Cowboys last week, and Rosen appeared to be an upgrade over Fitzpatrick. Additionally, there were multiple touchdown passes which were dropped which would have kept the Dolphins from covering.

The Chargers have been a completely different team this year in terms of play this season. They currently own a -4 point differential but have faced three potential playoff teams so far. Their offense seems to be playing pretty well so far, but their defense isn’t what it was last year. The team is near the bottom of the league in both turnovers (3) and sacks (4). The Dolphins have chance to put up points for the first time this year.

My NFL Week 4 Betting Pick: To me, the Dolphins are the clear pick here. As stated above, the Chargers have the propensity to keep games closer than they should, and outside of the Dolphins in Week 2, 14-point home dogs have covered at a 7-4 clip over the last 11 games. I think the Dolphins keep this game within two touchdowns. Dolphins +15 (use our FanDuel Sportsbook promo code to get these odds)
