NFL Week 4 Weather Report: Betting and Fantasy Football Impact

A handful of spots for week 4 that could potentially see some rain. The most likely game for rain might come on Thursday Night Football.

This NFL weather article will highlight any extreme temperatures, precipitation, and most importantly, high winds that we could see across the NFL landscape this week.

If a game isn’t specifically listed in this week’s report, that means the weather is quiet enough for it not to be an issue in that particular game.

NFL Week 4 Weather Report & Forecast

As always, it’s best to stay up to date with the very latest forecasts, so follow me on Twitter @KevinRothWx and keep an eye on my NFL weather page.

A reminder that while temperature and rain/snow can impact a game, the greatest impact by far comes from high wind, so I’ll be looking to highlight those spots when possible.

Thursday Night Football

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants – A broken line of showers and storms will be dropping in during the game. It’s not a definite washout, but I’ve got rain chances around 60%.

Sunday Main Slate

LA Rams at Chicago Bears – A chance for rain with winds around 10 mph. I don’t think the wind is enough to matter, but we’ll need to keep an eye on those rain chances.

Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Typical Florida chance for a shower or storm.

Sunday Night Football

Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens – Chance for a shower and light winds.

Monday Night Football

Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins – Our typical Florida afternoon storms should be winding down by Monday Night Football, but a lingering shower or storm is possible.

Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions – The game is indoors, so no worries.

Weather Impact on Fantasy & Betting

I think of all the games the New York Giants game on TNF is the most likely to see rain, but any other game listed also is worth a pregame check to see how it looks. As of now, I’m not expecting any major weather issues (especially with winds remaining light for all games).

In case things change, I’ll be posting radar GIFs to Twitter as we get closer to kickoff: @KevinRothWx on Twitter.
