NFL Week 9 Weather Report: Betting and Fantasy Football Impact

Week 9 in the NFL looks about as quiet weather-wise as you could ask for, but listed below are a few games I’m keeping tabs on.

This NFL weather article will highlight any extreme temperatures, precipitation, and most importantly, high winds that we could see across the NFL landscape this week.

If a game isn’t specifically listed in this week’s report, that means the weather is quiet enough for it not to be an issue in that particular game.

NFL Week 9 Weather Report & Forecast

As always, it’s best to stay up to date with the very latest forecasts, so follow me on Twitter @KevinRothWx and keep an eye on my NFL weather page.

A reminder that while temperature and rain/snow can impact a game, the greatest impact by far comes from high-wind games, so I’ll be looking to highlight those spots when possible.

International Series

Miami Dolphins vs Kansas City Chiefs – In Frankfort Germany: Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfort has a roof if needed.

Sunday Main Slate

Washington Commanders at New England Patriots- I’m really only posting this one because it’s the “windiest” game of the main Sunday slate, but even that isn’t saying much… we’re looking at 10mph sustained winds with temps in the 50s and no precip. All in all, pretty great football weather, just like we’ll see in every other game this week.

Sunday Night Football

Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals – No rain, temps in the mid 50s, winds less than 10mph. Great stuff.

Monday Night Football

Los Angeles Chargers at New York Jets – Winds here will be just 10mph, enough that it’s worth mentioning, but not enough to have any real impact. Temps are in the 50s, and it should be dry, nearly perfect weather all things considered.

Weather Impact on Fantasy & Betting

With zonal flow across the country (that’s fancy weather-speak for a jet stream without any major curves), week 9 benefits by seeing the most mundane weather we’ve seen all year. I don’t think there’s any spots where weather is going to be an issue.

In case things change, I’ll be posting radar gifs to Twitter as we get closer to kickoff, @KevinRothWx on Twitter.
