What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max tournaments are my preferred format. There are some really great plays in the price range below $5,000, so I think I am going to be building with the traditional stars-and-scrubs approach. You can certainly start with jamming in Nathan MacKinnon, but don’t forget about other high-priced plays like Nikita Kucherov and Macklin Celebrini.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – After being held off of the scoresheet on Wednesday, I’m going right back to the well with Nathan MacKinnon and Colorado’s top line. There is plenty of cheap value to make a full COL1 stack work, and there are few lines tonight capable of matching their upside.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
