What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred format. This slate is all about Edmonton. They have a 4.3 implied team total as of this morning. That is massive for NHL. I am going to get to at least three of them for cash games and most likely my primary single-entry team as well. The cheap fill-in stacks are where I will try to be contrarian. There are cheap pieces of Chicago, St. Louis, and Ottawa that I can fill in around my Edmonton stack.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Edmonton is a scary fade, taking on a weak Ducks team playing on back-to-back nights. The only downside is they have appeared to shuffle their lineup around, making it more difficult to pay up for their main scorers. I would focus on the power play, hoping they get a few extra opportunities with the Ducks playing on tired legs instead of hoping for some cheaper scoring from guys who won’t see much ice time.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
