What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs – There isn’t much in the way of good value on this slate. I still think that I am going to try and pay up for as many Golden Knights as I can fit. Even if I can only pay for three Golden Knights skaters, I am still willing to get exposure to them. This is a completely lost season for the Penguins; they are currently sitting dead last in the Metro Division.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – On this 6-game slate, I prefer to build balanced lineups as there is little value to be had, while plenty of lines in the mid-range have solid matchups. Washington is my top team to target on home ice against a scuffling Red Wings team. Utah is my second matchup to exploit despite playing on a back-to-back. I also won’t be paying up at goalie, instead locking in the value from Connor Hellebuyck, who is simply too cheap to pass up on tonight.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
