What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. Toronto’s top 6 should generate a lot of ownership. Much like last night with the Devils, I think Toronto is good chalk. In order to differentiate in GPPs, I will likely punt the goalie position and try to find low-owned one-off skaters.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Toronto and Minnesota will likely carry most of the ownership tonight, but there are still enough ways to get different on this small slate. I plan to target Vegas and/or Washington as pivots in tournaments where I expect them to go relatively overlooked. I also think paying up for goalie is the way to go, as the risk is not worth the reward for spending down at the position.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
