NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Friday, October 25
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
TastefulTides: Connor McDavid
boggslite: Connor McDavid
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. There is one clear and obvious chalk spot, which would be the Edmonton Oilers, who currently have a total of slightly over 4 goals. If I elect to eat the chalk with them, I want to try and do it in a unique way. One way of doing this is to over-stack them. Instead of playing just one line, you can play five individual skaters or go with a full onslaught stack and play the maximum of 6 players.

boggslite: I’m playing large-field tournaments. Edmonton will likely get the majority of the ownership, but targeting players from Vegas, Nashville, and the NYI/NJD game offers enough options to get different if you want to be contrarian. I prefer Vegas as they have a solid matchup on home ice with an easy game against the Sharks. They won’t have to worry much about tomorrow’s game.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
