NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Monday, November 2
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
Moneyball16: Nathan MacKinnon
Joda: Nathan MacKinnon
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Tonight’s a good night to get different at goalie. If your particular lineup is not playing Colorado skaters, then Spencer Knight should be a good cheap play at goalie. The same idea applies to Dustin Wolf against the Sharks. Wolf has struggled this season, so his ownership should be reduced, but he has a good track record, and if the Sharks underperform tonight, he should be a good play.
Joda: Nathan MacKinnon and Macklin Celebrini are the standout plays, and Colorado draws the better matchup against a Chicago team that ranks near the bottom of the league in 5-on-5 expected goals share. Calgary’s 5-on-5 defense also ranks in the bottom third, which helps the case for the Sharks. On a 4-game slate, I like building around those two, utilizing cheap plays in good roles to free up salary without sacrificing much correlation.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
