What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – For a slate this large, it is weird that there really are not obviously great plays or big studs on the slate. Because of that, it makes more sense to lean into mid-priced, highly correlated lineups. Another unique thing about this slate is that the likely two most popular teams, the Devils and Capitals, are teams where I will likely be staying away from power-play stacks. Washington is expected to go pretty 50/50 on their power-play units outside of Alex Ovechkin, and with New Jersey, you never know which defenseman is going to be on PP1 that night.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. This feels like the strangest of slates this season, and I would look to correlate more than usual given the pricing structure, with none of the usual superstars available. I think it is easiest to build around WSH1 and NJD1, but ownership should gravitate toward there. I think players in the last 3 games of the slate will be overlooked. Florida has some interesting pieces against a bad Nashville team, and at the same time, Nashville could be worth a sprinkle against a volatile Daniil Tarasov. The most important thing is to watch warmups, as we have some important players to monitor status, like Kirill Marchenko and Vincent Trocheck.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
