What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – DraftKings seems to have improved their pricing recently, leaving less obvious value plays and pay-up options, and as a result, I think correlation becomes more important. This is also a slate with a number of teams playing on a back-to-back, sometimes with backup goalies in. I like a lot of highly correlated lines facing these tired teams, like MIN1, CBJ1, SJS1, the Troy Terry line for Anaheim, and the top 2 lines for STL.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred format. I’m going to keep an eye out on projected ownership in LineupHQ. While I really like getting to FLA1, I think they might get really chalky. If that ends up being the case, I might take a shot on Linus Ullmark as my goalie to get leverage on the field. St. Louis looks to be in a really great matchup against Chicago, who is playing their second game in as many nights.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format. Florida’s top line is criminally underpriced and fully correlated, and I do not mind getting over the field on them. I like the idea of adding Matthew Tkachuk, who has scored a goal in 5 consecutive games, as he takes on his brother tonight. Minnesota’s top line is fully correlated as well and could be productive against the Islanders on a back-to-back. Ilya Sorokin may start again, but no matter who is in net, it is a tough spot for the Isles.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
