What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs. My favorite stack and my favorite GPP goalie are facing each other. I also think MIN1 will be popular. In lineups without any MIN skaters, Yaroslav Askarov will get a bump for me. In situations where MIN fails, he will not only be expected to perform better, but when he performs well, it will take out a solid amount of the field, lowering the bar for those lineups with Askarov to succeed.
TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred format. There are some really great stacks at very affordable prices today. Minnesota, St. Louis, and Philadelphia are all very easy to play. Those teams are going to allow me to pay up for Edmonton, who have the clear best spend-up options on the slate. Edmonton has an implied team total over 4 on the road against a Chicago team playing their second game in two nights. Chicago also allows the 5th-most goals in the NHL. I will be prioritizing getting to at least a couple of the Edmonton spend ups in both cash and single entry.
Hunter4ever89: I will be looking to MME contests as well as some of the smaller-field, high-stakes contests. While I don’t love it, I am looking to be overweight on some of the chalkier EDM and MIN pieces tonight. With Kirill Kaprizov out again for MIN, I will also look to play a few Yaroslav Askarov lineups. While I prefer the MIN top line in general, the Wild’s depth is concerning from an offensive perspective. If the Sharks can slow down the top line, Askarov could be in line for a decent game.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
