What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – One unique thing about this slate is that there are 4 forwards who are expected to double shift on the power play: Kucherov, Ovechkin, Nylander, and Fiala. For the most part, they have good matchups as well. When the pricing works out, I will like making these guys a last piece one-off in potential 3-2 stack formations. Double shifting the power play with a solid matchup gives them upside to put up a big score without necessarily making you want them as part of a stack, which is an added bonus as a one-off.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred GPP format. There are some really good-looking stacks that don’t necessarily break the bank on this slate. The obvious selection are the Islanders, who have a home matchup against the awful Sharks. I will be getting to at least a couple of pieces from the Islanders, but I will be looking to get contrarian with my secondary stack. I will be looking to see what the projected ownership is on the Maple Leafs’ top-6 and power-play units, and I don’t mind a one-off from the Kings.

Hunter4ever89: I will be playing the MME main contests on DK as well as the high-stakes small-field contests tonight. In the smaller field contests, I like the balanced builds with some of these mid-priced line stacks, such as NYI, WSH, and NYR. In the larger prize pool contests, I like paying up for some of the Tampa Bay and Edmonton pieces. I think the high-priced full stacks will go a bit underowned, and they have slate-breaking upside.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
