What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field tournaments – This is a slate where two usually tough matchups are actually good matchups. Both Washington and Tampa Bay are in the top 10 for fewest goals allowed, but tonight, they have a few disadvantages in common. They are both on the road, they both played on Friday night, they are both playing well-rested teams, and they both had their stud goalies in net on Friday (and should have a steep drop-off in goaltending with their backups in net tonight). Edmonton and Columbus should score easier tonight than they normally would against these teams.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max GPPs are my preferred format. I am going to take an underweight approach on Edmonton. That doesn’t mean that you have to, but I just prefer getting to Tampa Bay and Boston. There aren’t a lot of strong salary-saving options, so I am going to lean more into stacking and hope that I get a couple low-owned spots right.

Hunter4ever89: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. When we get slates with 5-8 games, I like to play large-field tournaments and spread my exposure out to more teams than I normally do. Outside of Edmonton, I don’t see any team that will become too chalky. I truly believe that you can play any team on tonight’s slate. In smaller-field tournaments, I will likely have core players from Edmonton, Tampa Bay, and Carolina.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
