What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – Yesterday was the trade deadline, so today is not the day to sleepwalk through the slate. Pay attention to the news through the day, and pay attention during warmups to be sure of potnetial new lines, roles, and whether or not acquired players are in the lineup. Our Discord is the best place on the internet to keep track of all of it.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. It’s looking like the Avs and Predators for high-end stacks today. If having to choose between the two for single-entry, I am siding with the Avs. For large-field GPPs or for a contrarian single-entry option, my favorite team is the Stars. They have the addition of Mikko Rantanen. They might need some time to gain chemistry or could immediately start crushing. Either way, I think they are a good play at what should be fairly low ownership.

Hunter4ever89: Large-field multi-entry tournaments are my preferred format today. I will still play some high-stakes, small-field GPPs, but contest size is not particularly great today. I plan on having the minimum-priced Jake Walman in every lineup today, and I will look for some low-owned stacks to fit in with the chalky Predators and Islanders. I disagree with Vegas on Montreal’s implied team total, and that is a spot I will look to be overweight on as a stack. They don’t break the bank and offer great correlation and upside.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
