What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – One thing I notice on this slate is how expensive the stud defensemen are. Unless it involves a PP1 stack, I don’t think I will be using many of the most expensive defensemen. As one-offs, I would prefer going with one of the many $3,000-$4,500 defensemen who maybe don’t have the same scoring upside but still play huge minutes, block shots, and have solid matchups.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max are my preferred format. I’m not sure where I want to prioritize my salary. Edmonton would be the first team I would look at if I wanted to go with an expensive stack. If I decide to fade the ownership, I really like getting to Montreal. They are fully rested and play on home ice against the Senators, who have allowed the 2nd-most goals on the season.

Hunter4ever89: Single-entry and 3-max are my preferred format today. I will look to be overweight on the chalky EDM PP1 guys and get unique with my lineups through my secondary stacks and goalies. I think EDM is in a tier of their own on this slate.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
