What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Joda: Single-entry contests are my preferred format tonight. With 11 games on the slate, I find it easier to go with a one-lineup approach. McDavid is the clear spend tonight given the Rangers’ defensive struggles, and there is plenty of cheap or mid-tier options available to make it all work. I will not worry too much about ownership given the slate size.
TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred format. I like the larger slates because it really spreads out ownership. I would be cautious at goalie because sometimes goalies can get steamed even in large slates. Make sure to check our projected ownership on goalies before lock. If Karel Vejmelka isn’t getting steamed, I will roster him; if he is, I will pivot to a lower-owned goalie and try to play some combination of the expensive Oilers with cheap Utah or Buffalo fillers.
Hunter4ever89: Single-entry and small-field high-stakes contests are my preferred format today. We have a few spots where we may get late news once again this evening, and I will look to adjust my lineups accordingly to gain an edge. We need to watch for lineup changes for the Penguins once again, as they need to find a way to get a win. Tage Thompson could slot back into the Buffalo lineup today too. Both of these teams played last night, so we may not get an update until pre-game line rushes.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
